Yarn therapy is the use of knitting, crocheting, and other yarn crafts to improve mental health. The repetitive, rhythmic nature of these activities can help with stress, anxiety, and mood.
Join Honors College student, Kamellia Barrett, who will be offering crochet lessons. This is open to all students, faculty and staff – all skill levels are welcome! Supplies will be provided, but participants can also bring their own. Join in on the fun and health benefits of yarn therapy!
Meeting Time: Mondays 2/10, 2/17, 2/24, 3/3, and 3/10 from 2 – 3 p.m.
Location: Counseling & Wellness Center / Campus Center room 260
